Anyone know how to make a body prop pop up about 90 degrees out of a coffin lieing of the floor using compressed air? iv tried it using pistons i made out of pvc pipe but with no success. Id be happy just to get the thing to sit up, it just needs to be powered by compressed air.

You would want to build a mechanism similar to one of these below.

    DC Torso Erector www.dcprops.com/stock.htm
Boo Crew Production makes a Coffin Sitter www.boocrewproduction.com
    Evilusions http://evilusions.com/shop/product_i...oducts_id=1052

You also want to use real pneumatic components. Building anything pneumatic out of PVC is dangerous.

After taking your advise and doing much research i plan to do something like this... http://www.zen150420.zen.co.uk/Halloween2009/ as for the pvc pipe, the stuff i make isnt very pneumatic at all, isnt even powerful at all lol. Thats why i had no success using it in this thing. il post a video of what i do with pvc some othertime. But thankyou again!

Honestly? Buy a welder, and start making your own stuff. I have been doing it this year, and thus far? works great, not to mention saving a LOT of money. And as for cylinders? BIMBA.com

Their original line is the best way to go....

Any other questions, PM me =)
