I my opinion, radio is the most effective form. The web is great but it takes some other form of advertising to get them to you site. Doing both is the best option.

My first season was 2009 and i dropped over 10k in Radio ads, 2010 i am spending 0! That tells you my love for the radio. I am using Mall locations and renting kiosks and Facebook as my major advertising routes.

Just curious, is anyone a diehard Radio advertising and feels they can't do without it?

All forms of advertising work to some degree. If they didn't, they would not be in buisiness.

Methods of advertising are tools and each has a different approach to getting a message to your target market. To say that I hate radio or I hate TV is like saying, I hate hammers and I will only use a staple gun.

Once you understand how to use these tools, they can be your friends. Each year, I have different goals, different goals require different tools. If I do massive visual upgrades to my show, it is difficult to convey this with radio. If I am doing something which requires a tremendous amount of frequency, it is too expensive to rely on TV.

If I used a hammer to turn a screw, because I didn't know any better, I would probably think hammers sucked too.
