  • estmating market potential question

I'm looking into a few locations and am estimating the market potential for each. The problem i'm having is determining the geographic boundaries for a haunted attraction. How many mile radius or travel time would you considered to be your market?

    Zombiephobe is right

23 yrs. same location helps keep the customers coming too.
The Ravens Grin is a pretty different haunted house experience in many ways and this in itself can be a draw.
Doing this full-time, year-round helps too, getting things done, being available to return phone calls to major media requests, ex cetra.
The Ravens Grin resume of free advertising from books, magazines, tv stations, mentions on web searching sites is extensive, yet we take the time to ask almost every customer how they first found out about this place and it is usually from someone else who has been here and couldn't stop talking about it! (We implant a special alien technology "chip" in their brain, "Shhh" trade secret.)
Will the average haunt customer still be driving to see a haunt if gas is $15.00 a gallon? Probably not, pick a location near a bus stop or train station.
Yes, the future might get scarier than us.
