I need to sell some things this year. I built two plant monster props for my "Jumani" room last year. I will use one in my cemetery/swamp scene but I don't need two of them.
It "Grows" from about 2 feet high to around 9 feet. The head stands 8 feet and the arms a bit higher. The other movements are arms extending, head up and down, head turn, mouth open and close, it also sprays water from the mouth. There is a water bottle in the head for this.
It comes with everything including a sound unit for the sound effect. I can hook it to either a button or motion sensor to fire it. You would need to supply an amplified speaker or home stereo for the sound.
This is a unique prop designed and built by me. It was used for one season. It worked perfectly for me last year with no problems. I will go over it and make sure everything is like new. It can be reprogrammed for a longer or shorter show if needed. I can do the reprogramming to fit your needs.
Considering what I have into it. I am selling it for $2600 plus shipping. Here is a video of the plantmonster.

There are also some pictures taken of the construction so you can see what it looks like under the hood, or feel free to use the design to build your own monster![]()

WOW wasnt expecting that, for some reason feed me seymoure came to mind , very nice looking prop! good job!!!! and good luck selling it!

Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you like the plant monster. At first I was going to do a "Seymoure" type of plant, but I like the props in my haunt to be more scary than comical.
For lighting, I alternated a strobe light with a green pinspot on the head. It looked really great. Hopefully, someone can use it in their haunt.
I'm sure someone can use that! It was very cool, to much Miracle Grow.lol.
Have you made other things that go bump in the night?
Yes, I have been building things for several years now. Some other projects are a rippling floor/floor buster combo. An 8 foot animated WereWolf, a falling ceiling, a fully automated spider room. many smaller projects too, thrashing corpses, electric chair, barrel spitters, spraying toilet.
I build all the animation for my haunt. It's probably what I enjoy most about haunting. That and creating special effects.
I'm glad you like the plant monster, I especially enjoy making animated creatures with lots of movements.
Dark Raven Manor is one of the hauntes and my area so I got to check it out this again this season, and have to say that these plant monster props were awesome! Very original and worked very well...these suckers stood up High! Very Impressive!

Thanks Tim,
I very much appreciate your comments. I happened to catch your article in the latest Hauntworld magazine. Very nice job!
Talk to you later
Now those are some unique props. They would go great in a haunted green house scene.
