BeardedBill is correct. It stops plenty high enough. The spikes are styrofoam. In the haunt, I locked people in the room and had the lights go out just as it bottomed out. Then a hidden door opened allowing people to escape.
Safety is my number one concern. Not to mention the state inspector who gave it his approval.

Hi Jim I love your haunt and actually 3 years ago my dad and I talked to you about our haunts. This year Buffalo Badlands will be in the first commercial year and I am planning to do a friday night haunt segment with one of my friends on one of the local news stations. I would like to include all of the local haunts. This would be an ad campaign to get more people to try going to haunts and increase the market.

p.s. My sister Kitty is terrified of your work

I purchased the Plant Monster that was up for sale here. I have used it for 2 years in my home haunt. I would now like to sell it. It is controlled by an EFX-TEK prop-1 and the audio is HauntBots OEM MP3 player module. I would like $1500, OBO.

Also, here it is in it's current state. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBs89aAKNE8 The first 40 seconds are the plant monster.
