Vortex tunnel speed

Hi ghouls,
Well I am building one of these things and finally got the hoops to turn smoothly. It looks like my average rotation rate is around 10rpm. Is this too fast? Reason I ask now rather than finishing it and seeing for myself is that it takes a bit of work to position and secure the motor for proper tensioning of the belt etc. Is there such a thing as too fast or too slow for this?

I have found that 9-10 RPM is the optimal speed setting for spinning tunnels, so sounds like youre right on track.
