I heard about that this morning. In these economic times I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't happen again before the season is out. Visibly armed off duty police officers is a haunted attractions best friend.

I used to go to Winthrop U in Rock Hill. This is tragic!! I'm only an hour down the road now...but we shared this story with all involved in our attraction this morning. We're going to have tighter security measures now, despite the fact the police station is right next door.

You can't have anything, do anything, go anywhere, have a good time without worring about something happening that's gonna turn bad. You constantly have to watch your back (and wallet) for the fear of getting jumped or robbed or worse... Damn, what is this world coming to? I guess these idiots just don't care about anybody or anything. Innocence ??? What's that ???
Only the best at this tragic time. Imagine, a home haunt with donations for charity. Is nothing sacred anymore?.... Disgusting!!!!! They should string this accused idiot up along the haunted trail and have the locals stone him as punishment. Of course, this would never happen. He'll probably get off on a reduced drug induced-rage charge or something stupid like that. Put him in the electric chair, I'll pull the switch. Bastard !!!!! (chuck, tell us how you REALLY feel ) I just did.......
This didn't happen at a haunt but we just had a local businessman go check on a friend he hadn't heard from and found the back door kicked in. When the police arrived they went in and found his friend wearing nothing but a towel (had just come from the bathroom) laying in the hallway with a bullet in his head. He was a retired guy that wouldn't hurt anyone if he could. It's everywhere!!
