Jumping Stilts?

Anyone use them in their haunt? Which brand is the best? Any costume ideas utilizing jumping stilts? other than a clown dont want to be a tall springy clown. I'm really interested in using a pair for this coming up halloween season

I use them alot, Powerizer is the best brand out there right now, there are several brands that are cheaper but they are patent violators...but I digress you dont care about that.
If you PM or email me I can send you a doc I have from a stilt class that I did that lists different types of characters for different types of stilts. There are also a few tips on them that I will share that make them more effective.
If you want to do more internet research use the term "Bocking" thats what the sport aspect of it is called.

We use thses in our attractions as well as other events! My company carries them as well! but they are called Sky Runners I do a lt of cool things on these I have a custom clown custume that I wear that almost Hides the stilts totally...

How do they do on different terrains? like say tile, concrete, grass, gravel , dirt etc. any specific one to stay away from?

tile- great once you put on tire socks
concrete,- great right out of the box
grass- pretty good be careful at high speeds
gravel - Out of the box not so good, with tire socks pretty good
dirt -great
any specific one to stay away from- Sand always sucks because of the energy it takes to move in it. Also the shape of the feet on jumping stilts is kinda like a ski, its curved. you need it to be so there is contact no matter the angle it hits at. But in the mud, the ski shape acts like....a ski, so avoid mud. And painted asphault, often the paint on asphault or concrete gets very slick when wet, even white stripes on parking lots can do you in if you plant your foot there at high speed.
