Just seen the new horror movie, Insidious...I have to say, it's one of the scariest movies I've EVER seen. Or at least have seen in a LONG time!

It's a ghost story, but instead of a house or object being haunted...it's the families child.

It's a great movie with TONS of good startle scares! Everyone in our theater was SCREAMING and talking about it after it was over. -Tyler

I just saw this movie last night as well, and I must agree, definitely the scariest movie I have seen in a LONG time, if not the scariest one ever. Finally somebody knows how to make a horror film that is not only startling, but actually scary.

The theater was packed, and screaming the whole way through. It gave me a few good ideas for my haunt as well.

Saw it last night...Nightgore was absolutely right!! James Wan has done it again...from bringing us the Saw series to Dead Silence...

This movie has it all...It's funny, scary, tugs your heart strings once or twice...but most of all it actually attempts to SCARE YOU which is the whole point of a horror film.

...also, look for the little Saw "Easter Egg" Wan throws in the film too -- everyone in our theater caught it!!

                  *SAW EASTER EGG SPOILER ALERT*

screamforadream -- when the dad is in his class room, if you look behind him, there is a chalk drawing of Jig Saw behind him...

& did anyone else think the old lady that was haunting the dad looked like Mary Shaw from Dead Silence?! Maybe a second James Wan easter egg?!

The whole theater couldn't stop laughing at the little "Easter Egg".

I think in most of James Wan's movies there is a Saw "Easter Egg"... or at least in Death Sentence there was.

This was an amazing film. The old lady you guys keep talking about was actually a male actor. ha ha.. and yes she/he did look like Mary.. I highly recommend this movie. It is not a typical Now a days horror gore fest.. It is a well thought out movie. It has a Vincent Price quality to it. I have never heard people scream like that in the theater before. Lets face it we as haunters are pretty much desensitized to scary things but Some parts in this movie freaked me out ha ha.. now Im babbling on… In Short.. its worth the $10 bucks. Go see it. Lets show Hollywood its time to start making new movies. Not the guy with the knife part 33.

Beginning credits reminded me a lot of an old Hitchcock film.

I loved this movie, one of the best if not the best scary movie I've seen the past 20 years. One scene that stands out to me, wasn't even that scary but the way it was done really stands out. When the lead female in her new home takes out the trash and the music suddenly changes, and through the window she sees that man dancing vigorously, then the next window he wasn't there. It was simple but I think it's the fact that the guy wasn't trying to be scary but it just really felt disturbing to me. Also, all the scenes the Dad experienced in the "other" world were also disturbing, with the family in the living room, etc....
