    I liked it...lots of subtle creepiness, but I will have to say my favorite scene was probably the "workshop". Need to watch it again on blu-ray.

    I also have to agree with the misplaced "happy" music..love when movies, or even haunts for that matter do that. It has changed views and mental connotations on so many songs, but in a good twisted humor kind of way.

    I Did an act in a haunt one night with some friends in an asylum scene where we replaced the normal soundtrack for the night with almost all Dr. Demento and cartoon theme tracks..one of the most fun nights ever and worked right in with our acts.

        Loved it!♥

        Yes I went to see that in the theater! It was the first horror movie I've ever seen in the theater and it was actually very well done! I loved it! (: I jumped a lot because of everything that was jumping out at you. It was perfectly detailed with good 'Surprise Factors' !(: A good see!

            Finally got to see this. I was expecting more from all the hype. It had a few creepy parts but nothing I havent seen before. Ive seen so many horrror movies and everything has been done it takes alot to thrill me I guess. I may check it out again and give it a second chance.

              Lots of good choices in making this film, it's a nice scary movie. Not epic, but good.

              For my money all California bungalows are scary from the get go so they had that going for them.

              I was hoping someone would come in and save the medium lady, I've always liked that actress
              and that character particularly. It was a good twist for the ending, especially since taking the photo made
              the audience think there was going to be someone behind him again, not that his body had been possessed.

              Lots of strong visuals but honestly no better than what a lot of haunts produce, especially in make up and prosthetics.

                  Ive watched it 3 times so far and about to watch it for a fourth by myself at 1:30 am... mua ha ha!

                  As far as scary movie goes this goes on my top. WAYYYYYYYY scarier than paranormal activity IMO. PA seemed more like one of the "scary movie" series while this was truly genuinly (spelling?) creepy. Love the demon and how simple the makeup was even though hes similar to darth maul. just the simplicity i love. and the few times he pops up are burned into your head. god i love it.

                  anyways heres the workshop scene

                  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODXNPy2z3vQ

                  and the tiny tim song in spongebob was livin in the sunlight loving in the moonlight. which is also just as creepy. check out his cover of the doors "people are strange" too its great.

                  insidious A++++
