Prop 1 advice needed

Morning Campers,

So does anyone have any good advice on how to program a prop 1 controller? I have scoured EFX site,read all their documents,and searched around the internet. I understand the High,Low commands. I start getting lost on the whole IFThen thing. If anyone has some advice that is in plain human language, I will take it. Thanks for looking. Chaos " I AM NOT VERY SMART!
