  • Squeeze room blower noise

Anyone have any ideas on how to mask the blower noise from a squeeze room? Has anyone ever built a sound proof box to encase the blower. I'm thinking of going that route. I don't need to eliminate the sound altogether but would like to knock it down a few decibels

    blower box

I am in the inflatable amusement business and we have a big inflatable movie screen. The blower is the same style used with my squeeze room. I'm not sure what size your blowers are, but either way.....open air cinemas is who made my movie screen and they offer a "silent" blower box because you can imagine watching a movie with those things going. You should check out their website, I'm not sure how much they are but they make it really quiet. I'm sure you could build one yourself for cheaper though.

Thanks! I looked at them, and $200 is a bit steep. I think I'm going to build some and see if it works, but if all else fails I will have to give them a try.
