We used glow in the dark paint for ours. It was on sale last year for, I believe, about $300.00 per gallon. One hell of a "sale" I tell ya

Ok... So last year I spent some time painting some white skulls on my vortex tunnel.... like hundreds of white skulls on a black vortex tunnel with the expectation that they were going to "glow" under the black lights only to find out they didnt even show up under the black lights. I thought everything white glowed under white lights... guess I was wrong so all those cool skull look great in the daylight, but dont do crap for me at all. So what kind of paint do I need to use to make them show up under the black light this year? Can I use spay paint from a can or do I need something special?

Someone told me neon spray paint shows up under black lights? Does anyone know if that works?
Thorswings, some do, some don't. I think it depends on the color and the brand. If you already have some neon that you are thinking of using, test it out on a piece of paper and a blacklight before you buy more. I've had some good luck with some of the neon spraypaints glowing, but not all of them do.
We've done a lot of UV/3D attractions and these are the paints we most often use:
Dayglo (you can't beat them for their vibrancy and pop)
http://blacklightworld.com/ (If you want invisible UV reactive paint)
Wildfire FX also makes a decent paint
