Thats cool Tracy. Keep up the good work!
Greetings! My name is Tracy, I am a prop maker and woodworker. I used to work at the infamous Terror On Church Street in Downtown Orlando, the upcoming season always feels a little empty knowing that it is no longer there. Since then I became a woodworker and now sell my strange creations on my website. In addition to my Vampire Kit I also make an array of unique Vampire Stakes.
The Vampire Kit is actually quite unique. It houses 13 various herbs, seeds and potions, it contains a variety of actual antiques as well as an assortment of clever antique reproductions, like the Brighton Buns candlestick holders that transforms two fully functional candlestick holders down into something that looks like a flying saucer. Reproduced from Civil War era candleholders. Lots of other neat items, including a secret compartment. Please check out the kit along with my other haunt happy items at http://www.thegreendragon.us/vampirehuntingkit.html
Thanks a lot, I hope everyone has a great season! Email me with any questions or special requests, custom works are my specialty!
Whats the cost?
$5,495.....but there is free shipping LOL
Allen, you better grab 2 to bundle shipping.
Not to knock it because it does look great...but the supposedly "real" one on antiques roadshow even went for way less than that.
Maybe they can send it economy post and knock off a couple of dollars... (It never hurts to ask!)
That's beautiful and extremely well thought out, but for that price, it needs to include weapons for mass mythical creature/demonic destruction. Cover werewolves and zombies, and something for exorcism, and then I might consider!
I saw the big INCLUDES FREE SHIPPING first, and I thought "Nice!"... then in the smaller font above $5,495... "Nevermind"

Yeah, it is a bit costy. I actually went tonight and took it down a little. It could be used for multiple purposes. The Wolfsbane is typically used to deter Werewolves and some of the other items could certainly be used in conjunction with Werewolf hunting. The cost of pure silver, whether daggers or bullets would be way too expensive. As far as I am aware, an Exorcism only requires holy water, a crucifix and a bible, all of which are included. The antique bible is really cool, many of the passages have been altered over the course of time and this one makes for interesting reading, if only for comparison.
It's also hard to really show how big this kit it. It weighs almost sixty pounds and was put together like a real antique. All the dovetails were cut by hand in the traditional fashion. I was first a furniture builder. The cost may be laughable, but the effort was extraordinary, it took almost four months to make it just right. Most kits are very small, this one is more like a chest of full sized weapons. A flimsy Hobby Lobby made in China case it is not.
Thanks to those who recognize the difference between a mere prop and old world craftsmanship. How much would you charge?
