We ended up with a swamp space that is in need to be kicked up a bit. I am in the market for something swampy if anyone has anything they are not using this year and looking to sell of, get rid of.

Get some swamp juice or some scents from froggys fog, and/or try PURETERROR.com and get some of the haunt moss with a guille suit. I am sure Dark Raven isnt taking orders but the vine creatures are amazing. -
I sell some great rusted look lanterns that would look awesome in a swamp scene. Pm me for more details. Also sell led candles for a voodoo witch scene.

I think you are on to something, with the popularity of "SWAMP PEOPLE" on the discovery channel, I bet you could strike a nerve.
You could modify my human pelt tutorial to make gatorskins out of plastic garbage bags- you would just need to knot a few bag strips so they form the "scutes" along the gators back.
Make many of them, like 10 and hang them from the porch of the shack- it sets up the owner as a bad mo fo. Also one of the bigger hanging skins could be moved by an actor and snap at them (like a hanging stationary puppet) then the actor could walk around and kick open the door of the swamp shack and personally assault the group with his giant skinning knife.
If you wanted to go over the top you could have one gator (skin over chicken wire frame) with his throat slit and draining into a bowl.
I could see this being pretty awesome. I think you have a setting, you just need to apply a situation to it in order to send your mind in a direction. the swamp is the setting, and the gator hunter/skinner is the situation.
