Or do like this guy at Christmas -
    http://www.local6.com/news/5530801/detail.html
I know he was more so symbolizing the commercialism of Christmas - but I thought if he was able to use free speech - so should you

One of our guys has Halloween Decor up all year. His front porch has a skeleton chandelier, skulls, and he has a couple tombstones in the yard. (This is all high quality stuff... so it looks real)
His neighbors don't complain - because he keeps his yard cut, house is neat etc. So if people can put stupid gnomes, reflective balls, statues in their yards - does that not make it ok to do?

Good Luck and don't give in! [/i]

No furtther developments on our favorite scarecrow's fate - he's still out there sporting butterflies and flowers - even amist snow and not-so-springlike weather. I felt like calling MPOA when it snowed in April and demanding to know why the weather was "unseasonally" decorating my yard...

After all the craziness of yesterday I sit here and wonder how someone could get so worked up over a scarecrow in someone's yard when there are people out there who will gun down 32 people at a college campus. VA Tech isn't that far from me and luckily the people I know who work there are ok and luckily this attack came at a time when the people I know who went to school there have graduated. (Not that I don't feel for those who lost their lives - but I would have been beside myself 5-6 years ago when a lot of people I know went to classes there). I hope that if any of you know people at VA Tech that they are safe and accounted for...
