Ummmmm.... huh? What do you mean you can't have victims? Who's putting this thing on, the National Organization for Women, the Rainbow Coalition?

Bud I'd like to help but that doesn't even make since to me- "no victims" in a haunt. I mean, seriously, that's a complete disconnect for me. That's like a rancher telling his hands " no leather on your gear". Can you elaborate on what he Does want? Maybe that would turn the lights on for me.

the owner wants a house full of monsters. I can't say help me or get out or anything like that. I don't want to say/sing "he's gonna get you" every night. I'm not sure how to mix it up

Alright, so you are playing a mental patient in the asylum but you CAN NOT be the victim of a mad scientist/etc. YOu have to play dominate. EASY ENOUGH.

You play crazy. "Clown" but instead of grease paint put on the straight jacket. Add a head wound, maybe a cut down leather belt over the mouth and bounce off the walls baby. That's a fun gig but it takes some high energy and if your my age knee pads under your pants and forearm pads are nice. Watch the language and physical contact but there is almost nothing off limits in the dialoge, from conversation to reciting movie lines and singing show teams or the theme songs to 80's sit-coms (in a high pitched, off key deranged vioce, ofcourse).

Some of our better "patients" at the Burke Asylum over the years.

I would also like to point out keep in mind your character and the setting they are in. they gave you a good solid advice already but your dialogue should match up with your setting. For example if your area is based around the gaslight era or older eras singing sitcom theme music may not be a great idea. I think what your owner was probally trying to say is your a monster not a victim he does not want high pitch screams he wants you to make the guests feel like they are not getting out alive and your the reason why. there are diffrent levels of psychosis. there is the off the wall kind which he said in the previous post and there is the cold blooded calm evil like a Hannibal Lector. Find what works for you in your setting and go for it. if your unsure run it by the haunt owner or some fellow actors whom have been there a while.
Our Haunt is alot like that only victims we have are those desginated and no one else in the haunt should ever scream like a victim or say a phrase like get out. We want them to know that we would like to have them for dinner in the most literal sense of the term MWHAHAHAHA.

                    Confused.

                    What do you mean 'victims'?
Victims as in... people going through?

I really would like to help but by the time we got to "good psycho" I was completely spun out. It sounds like your boss knows what he wants so just do what he says. Good luck!
