  • LED shout out and thanks

Big Thanks to Allen Hopps and Quan ( darklight )from all of us at "The Fear Asylum" in SD. Those LED's you showed me Allen are a huge hit. I have theater lighting majors from the local college lighting our event and they love them! More white russians for you from this guy again at Transworld. I bought a couple flicker controls from darklight and those things are awesome!! Inexpensive and all the differant modes you can set them to;I am a big fan. Love them. Theres my plug Quan. Can I get about 4 more free ones by Thursday? Just kidding. Thanks to you both!! Have a great season. This haunted house thing is a TON of work. Geez.

        More Kudos to Dark Light

I am a lighting designer with many years of concert and theater lighting and sound experience. My first few years running my own haunt I used Par cans throughout, and even using some of my old theater tricks to control back light, still was not happy. Thanks to Quan who enlightened me on an alternative to par cans I have eliminated them entirely inside the haunt, and use a combination of Dark Light and Ethereal FX now. Awesome stuff, and I have already made out my shopping list for 2012!

Glad to see we're not the ONLY haunt completely satisfied with our Darklight order!! The lights have proved to be COMPLETELY easy to use. I love the plug and play aspect + we find ourselves using from 1 Z or Y, to maybe 2 or 3 X's per room or hallway. Those suckers put out MASSIVE amounts of light. I did all the lighting for the show this years and replaced all the dangerous high voltage/heat bulbs and fixtures but because they were so simple to install others wanted to start installing the LEDs saying it was "fun". We will definitely be back to order more next year, especially if we catch another 47 lights for $1000 special!! Only prob was TOO many UVs came in that deal. No complaints though!!

thanks for the compliments everyone. as former haunters (Shanghai Nightmare), we understand the issues that people run into with lighting: it's usually done last after all other things are in place, a lot of tweaks are made, things change from year to year... so we wanted to come up with something simple, practical, and professional to share with the industry. we're so happy that our products are able to help you guys be more efficient. we'll have a few new things for next year at Transworld and hope to offer some good bundled packages.
