Fog and Lighting Effect

Hi there,

I am currently working on a small garage haunt and I've seen a great effect at a couple professional haunts I'd like to implement. While your walking down a long black hallway, some sort of lighting is used to create a "Curtain" effect. With the addition of fog, an actor can stick his arms out of the "curtain". It almost looks like a wall of water. Any suggestions on the lighting that is used for this type of effect? From what I saw, it looked like some sort of LED and the light itself looked very small.
