  • Getting it slowly started

We are slowly but surely taking our steps to getting things off the ground.

after working towards a name, we got it and think we got the logo design, what do you think...?

Any possible confusion with The Gravedigger Show car?
I was told there are something like 15 identicle Gravedigger cars touring the country all the time. (True?)
"Gravedigger" is supposed to sound scary except for one small point, most of us dig our own graves everyday with what we eat, smoke, ingest and say to anger the neighborhood psycho.

      Yes. I would start again.

The Grave Digger Monster Truck Franchise has only spent the last 30 years working very hard to establishing this brand name.

You are very likely to get a cease and disist order, get sued or have a Monster Truck drive over your mother's house.

      Start over.

Another fabulous post from the U.S.Department of Wild Imaginings, now in spectaclar stereo, sponsored by the Adhesives and Sealants Council, suggesting ways to stick things together since the 1800s. Not fabulous in a gay way. Your results may vary. Illinois residents add 8% sales tax. These posts have been made by professional post makers, do not try this type of posting on your own without extensive training, lovely assistants and a trusty clown horn.

Also if this is just the name of your company is it necessary to have a "spooky" name??? What if you decide to branch out into other things?

I started day one with R&J Productions. NO Halloween mention at all. We are a production company that happens to operate a Halloween event.

Years after our inception, we branched out into other avenues. We were able to keep the name, move into other events and build on the success of the Halloween activities.

What if your wife is involved in the Bridal business and you wanted to produce a Bridal Show? Might be hard to get appointments and talk to sponsors, locations, radio stations ect. if your company is "Spooky Productions"!!

        Just a thought!

          Very right!
"Braindead the Clown" productions could do haunts or branch into other fields like putting plastic into wheat gluten for pet foods.
......then there is the whole wide open field of politics........

Same here. Unofficial is Free Spirit Enterprises that covers everything and Nightmare Park covers the haunt event and is generic enough to allow for any kind of event theme. The basic strategy right now is a featuring of great haunts that have become a part of the family, such as Nightmare Park featuring Castle Dredd, etc.
The word for the day is NPD. Check it out.

              Good point...

We are just starting out, have done a small yard haunt here for a few years now. We had space at the fairgrounds agreed upon for next year, but still undecided on it, probably just let that pass for the time being.

This year we are looking to either expand and make a massive yard haunt, or setting up a charity haunt. We will be speaking to our borough soon to find out about their recreation building.

              So we'll see....
