For this years haunt at the Hex House I built some tipping barrels. Each of these barrels are 55 gal. They are bolted together and attached to cables to make sure the patrons don't get a head ache. They are stationed on top of a 8 foot wall. I built an upright behind the wall to support it and several more if needed (it had to be strong). The bottom of the barrels has a 2 inch thick wooden base. This base is attached to the hinges that you see close up in this video: There is a cable to the far right that holds counter-weights. This cable runs over a metal rod that is actually guiding pully-style. This is my first attempt at this effect and I used pneumatics from Fright Props to get it running. I tried to get a video of the controls but it was too dark. I will make another video with a walk trough later. Hope you like it.
