I would think most hands would look alike. Here's mine from Brainstorm. I guess a hand is a hand. RedCrow's designs are very cool.

Well, for most people most hands look alike, but you can actually take the little diferences as an artist's signature: for instance, MDKing's hand is very interesting, it has tension on the phalanges and wrist, and the angle is slightly different, the thickness of the fingers reveal that the hand belongs to a middle complection person (that is not too fat, not too skinny), I have a pic of my hand in the exact same position, I was going to use it for that logo, but surprisingly, my hand doesn't even look close to that, cause I am skinny and since I am tensionning the fingers the skin of the fingers looks under stress and makes wrinkles below the finger.
Color is another topic I couldn't avoid, why most designers choose green for monsters? cause it's an icky color, the mucus are green, the rotten stuff is green, the radium is green... it's true, the nature is green too, but people tend to asociate the green with disgust. So, I had this 3 alternatives for the hand: white, black, red, blue and finally green, so, I decided to choose green so it looks a little bit more iconic and also to add color to the mixture, you see, the shroud is black, so white was going to look like a BW ghost and it would minimize the effect of the blueish highlights I gave to the shroud. Red was going to look devilish, black would melt with the shroud, and blue.... it looked like a frozen ghost to me. So I naturaly went with the green one.
hey, then explain why your avatar looks like these characters in the Sprite commercial!

lol... just messing with you. I couldnt resist. haha take it easy.
well, actually there is something about that, you see, I designed mr. toxic while I was at a comic con, I remembered a character done by Jordu Schell, my favorite mask maker and I wanted to do some sort of comedic homage to to mr. Schell, but then, when I finished it, it had nothing to do with the character designed by Schell, but I also used a painting/airbrushing technique similar to schell's, actually a mixture between the FX done by jordu schell and the tutorials by vance hartwell.
edit: you can take a look at it here:

Try papier mäche! LOL as a matter of a fact he is made in the 95% out of recycled stuff, many people underestimate me as a sculptor cause some of my sculptures look really simple, but you know, to sculpt styrofoam blocks and make papier mäche look like that ain't easy. To make mr. toxic costed me about 3 dollars, to make it took me about 2 or 3 months.Originally Posted by travis.magee
