Merchandise revenue

Hey guys, could anyone throw out some numbers on how many t-shirts or sweatshirts they are selling per season and at what price? Is there a rule of thumb like 5% of patrons buy t-shirts, and 10% are willing to pay for a photo op. I need some realistic numbers to put in a business plan. Thanks

I think t-shirts mostly sell from haunts who are well known or have been around for a long time in its area. If you've been around for 5+ years, then t-shirts may be valuable to invest in to sell...

However, if you're new to your area, from experience I have found that not many t-shirts sell. AND, all your actors, volunteers, family, and friends will ask for a free t-shirt, and you'll probably end up having lost money on t-shirts than actually profiting on them.
