  • Ideas for making hooves for stilts

I have a pair of jumping stilts. The costume will be quite furry, with long horse hair attached. The actor wants hooves to show. What is the best way to add hooves, but keep the actor safe to jump around? I am thinking a horse size hoof or goat.
Any ideas what to make it from, how to attach it and do I add it to the rubber bottoms of the stilts or a few inches up from the bottom?
    Thanks.

    no idea

I have no idea, but my mother's intuition tells me to make them out of foam (like a pool noodle) rather than a hard material so that they're less likely to interfere with the stilt function.

    And wear a helmet.
