      Need a bigger budget!

I need to get a bigger budget! I loved this thing at the show, and was close to buying one but alas, the budget didn't hold up long enough! I am counting the pennies in my penny jar though, and hope to have enough to buy one before the ned of the year!

Great job on this and the other costumes you guys showed. We loved them.

            Hey Larry,
            They are $1800.
That includes the Halo w scream cube and numerous custom audio files,
latex mask, led installed goggles, respirator with lots of breathing hole, rusty black latex apron, distressed and rusty lab coat, and the death blow 5' 10" hand held weapon.

I am happy with how this piece turned out, and we are getting a good response from it too.

Kevin, the scream cube is just for sound right? So it's around $800 for the costume minus the scream cube? Looks killer.

The scream cube is for audio but also an aesthetic detail. Alone it is $549.
You can buy components separately, but it is a much better deal if you buy the whole package.

Hey, I was just wondering. What do we get as a kit, that we don't get when buying seperate?

Not trying to be a jerk, but for giggles I added up all the stuff on the site, and I get $1790... it says $1800 for the kit.

                  What am I missing?

Looks killer btw! I think I'd go with the amputee weapon myself.

                  Thanks.

                    Lets see,

                    $1800 for the whole kit

                    or

$1100 for the halo w scream cube
                    $150 for mask and goggles
                    $75 for distressed lab coat
$150 for black latex rusty apron
                    $125 for the steampunk respirator
                    $15 for the gloves
$175 for the Death Blow Weapon
                    $1790 total

Wow you are right. It is cheaper.
                    I know what happened.
Initially we were including the Death Blow Amputee and that made the total $1915
We will have to fix that right away.
Seriously, thank you for seeing that.

So from this point forward the Respirator is $150 and the Death Blow is $200.
This helps us with the Respirator because we calculated the time and materials on it the other day and we were under pricing it alone.
They are an insane amount of work. Each piece is cast separately and then hand assembled, that is how we get so much detail into the respirator and its connection to the halo and goggles.

WHEW! I'm so glad that was actually something. I was so scared I was just being a jackarse and didn't know it!

I can't WAIT to get to purchase some of that costume! I'm a costume maker myself, no. wait. I USE to make a lot of costumes back in the day. But I want to support the industry, I just don't have a ton of budget anymore for it, but I'll definitely buy some of that costume!

Incorporating that screamcube into the costume... absolutely brilliant guys! Whoever thought of that needs a bonus!

                        Great minds think alike.
As soon as we started working on the Dr Trauma, incorporating the scream cube came to my mind.
Then Brett Meyer Buys a Scream Cube and does the same thing and sends me pics of it without us really talking about it.
Great job and helps keep the creative juices flowing.
And It just drives more ideas. You should see some of the plans I have already developed for next years Costume Kits.

                        The ideas are in abundance!

This costume scared the $hit out of me!

Not really ... But I watched an actor walking around in it at the Transworld show and it was awesome! What really caught my attention was how much the audio added to the costume.
