  • Rooms added to block at Sold Out Midwest Haunters

If you tried to reserve a hotel room at the Hyatt over the weekend you may have seen a message they were sold out. Well, we filled our room block at the Hyatt, but Wait There’s More, try again today. We called this morning and they were able to add more rooms for our group. Try again, but don’t wait too long; we will sell out soon.

We’ve also filled two buses now and we’re working on our third bus for the pre-convention bus tour to the Detroit area (10 haunts in 2 days). We’re limited to four buses. We know you can’t leave your business in October to tour other haunts; that’s why we plan these trips in June to give you a chance to learn from your peers while having a good time being entertained.

The Friday Paranormal bus tour is filling quickly too. We’re limited to just one bus on this tour that includes the Ohio State Reformatory. If you’ll be in Columbus on Friday, sign up for a tour of our haunt; The Scare-A-Torium on Friday night, followed by a Scary-Oke Show and Party.

Registration for the Midwest Haunters Convention is up 60% compared to last year; looks like we’ll exceed our target of 3,000 attendees this year. Some of our classes and popular activities are selling out fast, unfortunately we have limits due to space constraints.

Monster Makeup Wars is FULL, Ms Midwest Scary Pageant is FULL and the trade show floor is just about SOLD OUT. Check out the show at www.midwestshow.com

This will be the 9th year for the Midwest Haunters Convention is Columbus, Ohio. If you haven’t been to our show; just ask around the boards and let others tell you what you’ve been missing. We wish all the conventions a great year; get out and support your fellow small business owners and join your friends for a fantastic time with haunters.

Midwest Haunters Hotel Sold Out - We're setting up room blocks at other hotels

We've filled our extended block again at the Hyatt and two other hotels within two blocks of the convention center. We want to help you find rooms downtown; so we've contracted with four more hotels (within 2 - 12 blocks of the convention center). We'll start listing the new hotels on our web site tonight, but for those of you on HW Forum who missed the opportunity to register at the Hyatt, Drury or Crown; here's the additional hotels:

    - Red Roof - about 2 blocks $120

    - Marriott Courtyard - about 3 blocks $134

    - Residence Inn - about 6 blocks $139

    - Sheraton Capital Square - about 12 blocks $125

Check our web site tonight or Saturday morning for the promo codes to receive the MHC discounted rate. This is the first time we've filled our room block two months before our show. This is going to be a huge year for MHC.
