  • The Ideal Pitch For The City

For those that read my “Mr. Haunt has been given an interesting opportunity” topic post, I think that I am going to pitch the park specialist an idea of becoming the Event Manager for their attraction if it’s up-grading that they want to do.

Not 100 percent sure what I will say, but I think I have some kind of an idea. Being that the city would be the source of income, I would have to deal with them on why they should give some money to use to upgrade their hayride. If we charge admission, this would allow for payment of managers and staff to use during operations. Any concessions stands would be also a source of income.

Now if we donated a good percent of the profit to a “special city event” rather it be a; club, organization, kids summer camp, or some other form of event, should be enough for them to give money to build a better attraction, do you agree?

I think if they wanted to build a haunted house and upgrade the hayride, there would be a considerably a lot of money spent to accomplish this. I am envisioning maybe between $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 for the project, does this sound like too much? I am also envisioning that instead of a hayride it will become a walking path type haunt.

I would like everyone’s ideas so that I may pitch them a good plan!

    Thanks,

    Brian

Successfull "pitchers", whether in baseball or in other endevours get better with practice and have to throw a great number of pitches to become proficient.
Don't get discouraged, we are all learning as we go in this life.
Try to avoid throwing them a spitter, or realise you have this problem and stand a little further back from people when talking.
Unlike baseball, avoid digging your fingernails into your ball and roughing them up, it won't really help your control.
