I heard through the grapevine that he has decided to put it in one city and leave it there like every year and not travel around anymore... I don't know if this is true or not. Maybe someone else knows for sure. I hear the show is going to Dallas and staying there for good.

I don't like the idea of Hauntcon not traveling around and I think that will hurt him actually because he's built up the concept of going around the nation. On the other hand he could build it up like MHC has done so that is the other side of the coin. I think what makes MHC work is being able to spring board out to other cities nearby to do haunt tours. I don't think Dallas has the spring that Columbus does but we'll see...

Either way it goes I hope that it does well for Leonard and the industry. That would be great!

I still contend that there are many great cities where this show can be very very very successful such as ...

      Boston - New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC - Alabama - Atlanta - so we'll see

The following was told to me by Leonard on Monday but I was asked not to reveal it until later in the week.

Larry, he did hint that the other city that was vying for the show in 2013 would be the location for the 2014 HC. I can neither confirm nor deny your rumor though so I guess time will tell.

HAuNTcon: Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow and Conference will be in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas April 25th-April 28th 2013 at the DFW Sheraton. More details to come very soon!! Check back here for more details as they become available. www.hauntcon.com
