  • Need some 3D paint tips!

I have been doing some upgrades to my 3D haunt in Salem. I have built a large boat facade, and am working on a room covered in wood shingles and bricks. I normally have Stuart do the painting, but he is not available. Anyone have any ideas on good techniques to paint these kinds of things to look correctly in 3D. I know how to do basic highlighting of smaller props, but I am not sure how to go about larger areas like these, and make them look right. Any ideas will be appreciated.

I would black Basecoat, then dry brush the pieces with the UV paints. If they dont pop enough then do a drybrush with white then the uv after that dries.
