Freezer burn effect??

Can someone help me out, I'm working with a freezer for our kitchen scene and would like to stick frozen heads, ice cream cartons, arms, legs inside. But I want them all to look frozen/freezer burned. Doe's anybody have a trick to create this effect? Thanks
