Who is opening up for Fairycon this year?

What city is fairycon taking place in this year, and how much are the bus tours? I won't attend anyway unless they move it to around March but I am sure there are some people around here that are too scared to ask about the dates.

Bad I see your from HauntedHoochie and you have alot of half naked ladies there I have been there and visited and thought it was pretty AWSOME! They were nice to me and I had a good time!!!! However I was never scared we did joke that all the tits was a lil scary. I think as far as me goes your missing my point! Your more about half naked chicks and hey if it works for ya good for you! But for me I WOULD NEVER ALLOW THAT IN MY HAUNT OUT OF RESPECT for younger kids, church groups, and most importantly the City. I just don't see where it fits into being scary and a haunted house. Again if it works for you guys and it seems it does well more power to ya! But I want my customers to see a good scary, creepy show not naked ladies again they have that at the clubs! Quality Of the Costuming?

If it's a halloween Ball ... consider the effect of alcohol on the quality of a costume, you look in the mirror, it looks OK, where's my booze?
Solve this problem, costume as a drunken bum! There would also be drunken bum Vampires, drunken bum Zombies(Of course!)
Drunken Bum convicted Wife-Killers. Drunken Bumm-etts convicted Husband Killers. Drunken Haunt Customers, drunken haunt owners.
There is a whole, staggering, slurring, falling-down, embarrassing world of possibilities out there!
As far as "Painted Bodies" go,.. "Giddy-up old Paint, I'm leaving Cheyenne! "YEEE_HAW!"

We could start up a FairyCon and then Larry could get it moved to St. Louis so he can open up his Fairy Kingdom for behind the scenes tours. Problem is if we do this the vendors better bring it year in and year out. I'm sure Transworld will start contacting people about speaking at seminars pretty soon. Everyone make sure you post on here who you think is and isn't qualified to speak at some FairyCon seminars.

Bad just as me your allowed your opinion and I TOTALLY RESPECT IT!!! That's also the great thing about being the owner I accept everyone's opinions but at the end of the day all that matters is what I think as the owner and boss LOL! The FairyCon was not in direction of a gay slur! I have gay friends and know several gay haunters! My comment was just seems all the body paint and wings was more of a tinkerbell effect so let me get that straight! I have also seen men dress as women and hey if it works go with it LOL! Is it scary? hell no! Is if funny? Yes but I want to go to the comic clubs to laugh but I want to go to a haunted house to get scared not see half naked women and cross dressing men!

As far as art goes I agree there too up to a point but for me art is more of a thing to look at and appericate. I have some nice art myself in my home. Haunted Houses are simply about people paying you to try to scare them. Is is art hummmmmm to me no it's more of a creative outlet for it's owners and a way of stepping into the unbelieveable, morbid, odd, sick and twisted . People are paying you to scare them. Body painting I do give the shock value something when you see it and think ummmmmmmm ok dear lord cover up!!!!!!!!! Simply as I stated you can see this anywhere any time of the year. Also we have took this thread from a party comment to haunted houses that may be my fault LOL! Shane and it's we all see things different! Shane

Why do we host a Body Art Fashion show?

We appreciate the comments on the Midwest Haunters Convention and the Masquerade Party. This was our biggest show yet and the party exceeded our expectations. Not everyone attending the party is in costume and some people like to wear something not haunt related. They were there to relax and have fun. However; there were lots of people there in awesome costumes, you just haven’t seen their pictures yet! Some of them are featured on a link at the bottom of this message.

The Body Art Fashion show is how we kick off the party. We invite 10 artists from around the country to body paint models in a Halloween theme so they can show their talents with artistry. Haunted house makeup artists who use their October talents painting monsters can generate income year round by face painting at birthday parties, company picnics and other special events during the off season. Two of our artists, Nick and Brian Wolf got their start doing makeup at haunts and now they’re very well known in the industry and they are World Body Painting Champions.

The party isn’t recommended for children, the models are wearing panties and pasties and with full body paint you really don’t see more skin than you would on a beach. All the models in the show were selected by the artists. They are instructed to paint their model in a Halloween theme.

I don’t know what pictures you are referring to about overweight models showing bare asses. They were not part of the Body Art Fashion Show. I had to laugh at Shane's boob lady comment - Took my girlfriend and my daughter to this years show and I am talking with a vendor and I hear my girlfriend go "Dear god what the hell" I turn around and start laughing, my daughter and her are staring at "Boob Lady" and I just say "Welcome to Transworld" hahahahaha

Its actually the Fairyworld Paper, Costume, and Party show that will be in St.Louis. Fairycon is for enthusiasts and home fairiests. Not that we think home fairiests are less important than pro-fairiests,(because lets face it some home fairiests can fairy 100 times better than a lot of pro-fairiests) its just that the conventions are more their scene then our Real Fairy tradeshow. Fairyworld is for people trying to get actual business done.

I enjoy the show I was unable to attend this year because I was working on a project in LA. As far as over weight I could care less LOL actually like Bad said they come in all shapes and sizes so if you guys are doing that maybe you should allow all shapes and sizes to be fair to everyone that wants to Lord help if you get a discrminiation suit LOL. My comments were more about the use of them in haunted houses. A party is a party but at my party I know they would not give a person painted in body paint a winner out beause were looking for AMAZING COSTUMES! But again my comments are about in Haunted Houses a party is a party come as you like but a costume contest is about a costume!! Shane and it's! I missed MHC! Shane

Beauty may come in all sizes but then again not really! Sure some people are into big people and may be chubby chasers but lets be real there is an ideal as to what is considered beautiful just turn on your tv, walk past a magazine aisle and watch beauty contests. I'm saying if you weight 180lbs you shouldn't be walking around wearing a thong and painted up sagging breast. The models at the Halloween show yes they are built to show their bodies but they work at it, it doesn't come easy. But no one actually WANTS to see a heavy set person shaking and wobbling all over the convention or party floor!

Now as to not be a hypocrite I'm going to the gym I could stand to lose a few lbs as well.

Like Shane said its about haunted houses and people want to be scared so that's what they should receive.
