  • Shiney New Masks

    Hey,

I'm constructing some standup zombies. I ordered some cheap masks to cover the heads but the masks are too new and shiney looking. Anyone have a technique for making that new shiney mask look less shiney all over without completely repainting it?

    Thanks!

Leather stain from Tandy leather. I use gel antique tan or med brown

        Just the "Thought"!

Of a Zombie wearing a cheap, shiney mask is very scary to me!
"You know I'm a zombie, I know I'm a zombie, but please allow yourself to be distracted from this truth by looking at my new mask I'm wearing!"
        Then it's too late!

Also you can use Kryolan Matte finish. It's an acrylic spray that will dull the shine.
