  • Do you open weekdays before Halloween?

Just curious, are you opening your haunt Monday and Tuesday the 29th and 30th of October? Are weekdays that close to Halloween worth opening or not typically?

    Thanks,

    Jake

    Opening

Our last day will be on Saturday the 27th, we debated on Sunday the 28th, but we wont even be open on Halloween night. I know that sounds wild and crazy, but honestly a Wednesday is the worst possible day it could fall on....school night....work day....you have to weigh out your costs to operate, pay help, etc. vs. gain and Sundays do good enough to almost make it worth it....but weekdays are not worth it at all for us, and also....Halloween was our slowest night of the season last year with the exception of a rain night.

      The Biggest, Best Night

Will always tend to be the Last Saturday night before Halloween, even if it's many days ahead of October 31st.
Maybe advertising how special October 31st actually is could help the numbers increase?
Halloween itself or a day close to it(It varies) is the one day of the entire year that there will be the largest difference between solar time and mechanical time, up to 15 minutes difference!
The rest of the year "Time" gradually increases or decreases as the year passes but no other time of the year has this. Maybe this oddity influenced religious celebrations, ex cettra?
Maybe this little Time Warp could be the reason supernatural things have always been said to happen on or close to this time?
Maybe this day/night is speacial enough to warrant people coming to enjoy your haunted house!!?
