I just read your article last night. Great stuff Gwen. The thing I love the most is

A) how honest, sincere you are about the whole experience.

B) not only how it was, but how it affected you personally

and

C) you captured alot. Too many people dismiss those first experiences. Once your in the industry for a long time, you forget what its like to be new to it all, to be that home haunter wanting to start your own, that pro haunter who never was able to make it to events, that enthusiast who is your number one customer and the reason customers like that, that you do your haunt for.

I loved how you brough back so many fond memories for me of thos e firsts and I think you will for many others as well.

Hey, btw, remember how we were talking about a free flight? After I got to Chicago and got to my next gate, they asked if anyone was willing to fly 2 hrs later, meaning I would get home at 11:30PM. I did it and got a free round trip flight to anywhere in the US for 1 year. Sweet hun

Dirk, Free flights depart from the south end of Charlie's local bar everynight at 2 am! One "Passenger" accellerated too much as he exited the door and flipped over the wrought iron railing, face-first against the concrete sidewalk 6 feet below! If only he had had abit more air-speed he could have made it! (Or more "jet Fuel"?)
A few months before this this "Test Pilot" was incredulously asking the para-medics why they were assiting him? He didn't need their help, he felt "fine", laying there pinned under his SUV as it was upside -down on top of him in that ditch beside the highway.
