Ok. saw the film. COuldn't wait any longer so I took my niece.

First off, F#%^K the critics. I learned to not give 2 sh.ts about them and their views anymore. NONE of their views have come close to how I felt about the movies i wanted to see, including Transformers, This last Batman series and the Fast and Furious franchise.

Second, I don't think I can put it above The Avengers, however, that sumbish is on up there. I loved the movie. Michael Cain gave a BRILLIANT performance. Michael Cain has NEVER gotten me choked up before, and I was so involved in the movie, seeing how the story played out and all, when Cain got on screen for a few select moments, I was impressed. He's a great actor, but I am overwhelmed. It could've been me all caught up in the moment but .. .yeah. Anyways. SEE THE MOVIE.. one, it must be seen in the theater. It's just one of those films.

Third, it's true. My info was outdated. According to the 9th of this month Nolan canceled any involvement with the next Reboot of Batman and no longer in talks with the Justice League project.

I was kinda let down by the theater audience as a whole during batman, just not a WHOLE lot of response though they did clap at the end. It has lots of great scenes, realistic fighting and dialogue. And as Larry said, a wonderful twist, in fact I thought there were 2 twists, but you just gotta see it.

I hate when people clap during or after the movie. It's not a sport or live theater its a film and none of the performers are present. I plan to see the movie tonight.

Saw it for a second time last night...one of my kids was at summer camp so he wanted to see it. I picked up on things I did not catch the first time. Mostly stuff about the fast paced ending and well a reference to Killer Croc. If you can all recall many bloggers said one of the villains was suppose to be Killer Croc and I guess Nolan read all of that so he threw in a reference to him... that was neat.

Unbelievable movie the acting was the strongest element here... Bale was at his best in this flick. Overall I thought Catwoman would be the worst but she was really the best thing about the movie. I was surprised.

Although this is a very good movie! I still like The Dark Knight better. Bane was good but hard to understand at times. Heath Ledger as the Joker was much better as Batman ultimate nemesis! This movie was perdictable in parts. I liked Catwoman too! I'm going to see it again w my boys soon.

That may be true, but there's NOTHING wrong with public showing their respect and enthusiasm after a movie! It's a public gesture showing gratitude, like, not being ashamed to say "thank you" or "that was great" It's a "i loved it" without standing up and speaking the words.

One of my first experiences where a crowd got into a movie like that was Airforce One. When H. Ford overtook Gary Oldman (the hijacker). the whole crowd cheered (mostly non clapping cheers)

I for one love the feeling of the immersion of a movie. If a person doesn't feel that way about movies then... well....

I'll probably go and see it again.

Well I think it's incredibly cheesy cheering a movie that's a film and not live action, really corny. If you like it show your appreciation by saying that was good and spread the word not clapping and carrying in like someone scored a touchdown.

I went to see it Friday night and I really liked it. It has flaws but whatever, I was entertained throughout the movie and didn't get bored at any point. I still like the second movie better but this one is good. I'm not sure why some of the reviews I read from critics were so harsh. I honestly thought I wasn't going to like this movie going into it. I don't think it really ended in a way in which they couldn't make more movies in that particular universe. I might go again and take my kids not sure though.

Just got back, loved the movie! I even got a little teary eyed at points. Cat woman rocked and Baine was a bad ass, the only let down for me was Baines voice, that could have been and should have been taken care of.
