Who do you guys think makes the best haunt cds/sound for your haunts? I have heard of some[nox arcana, midnight syndicate] and some other makers. I am looking for more mood music then sound fx. The info I pulled up sounded like they were more goth music then haunt music. Any advise would be nice. THANX

Whatever you do needs to be show or story driven, and just depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Both of those artists are excellent, and, from what I understand, are typically well regarded in the haunt industry. I know one of Allen's friends really likes Midnight Syndicate and uses their material in a number of applications for his show. Allen's new Design DVD talks more about this.

      I have some!

I have some music that works well for a Children's Nursery, Hill billy swamp or Evil clown music.
If you want to set a super spooky mood try Evil whispers. You can hear samples on the website.
Here is a link and you can listen to samples.

      (Shame less plug) : )
      ALSO...
Gore Galore also has some really cool ambient sound tracks as well.

I would suggest checking out Virgil Franklin as he creates everything from complete tunes to simple ambient music and has complete CD's based on certain themes like fun houses, hillbillies and aliens.

He also has CD's from Jerry Vayne, Gore-Galore, and others...

          Definitely check out
Hedstorm Productions and the Rusty Knife collections. They are both available through Haunt Audio along with Virgils, and Gore Galore's "Sounds of Gore".

Ironically, all three of those fit what I'm doing for the show I'm working on. LOL!
