Installing Shock Pads

I have a shock pad that I would like to attach to a wall.

My plan was to glue it straight onto the wall with Contact Cement then paint over the entire thing.

So two questions: Is Contact Cement the right thing to glue it with?

And will the shock pad still be able to function with house paint over it?

Did you order your shock pad from Fright Props?

Ours new came with double sided tape/velcro in order to properly adhere it to the wall panels.

It's very sensitive on low, medium, high settings. Fingertips definitely have to cross the wires to get "shocked."

Don't recommend painting over it at all. That would probably negate the whole thing from working!

I got mine from Pure Terror Productions (I think that was their name). It did not come with any kind of tape to adhere it.

I need some way of covering it up because it will not be in a pitch black area. So I would like it to blend into the wall.

Maybe I'll try contacting the company. See if they have any tips.
