  • Spookywoods Promo Video 2012

    Haunters,

Promoting your haunt has become more of a challenge when competing for your haunt to stand out. We started making videos each year to keep our message fresh, this year it's all about the clown.

We closed down the main street from a local old town and had our FaceBook fans become extra's dressed in 40's atire. One of our main characters in the waiting areas at the haunt will be this clown from CFX masks. We had CFX paint it to match the Fright Nights clown in the mirror effect we have installed in the women's restroom. The video production was quite a feat and it was blazing hot weather, but it's all worth it come Halloween!

I tried to embed the youtube video, but it's beyond my intelligence after 1am. So, here is the link.

                  Video production

We ask our fans on Facebook to show up dressed in 40's style clothes. We had the city close down the main st and had a museum donate the use of the cars. Everyone in the shoot are fans and got a free ticket. Some of the fans are also in our Maize Adventure commercial, the fans have a blast being involved.

I'm torn here, there's something about having a clown stalking a little girl, small child. Some might consider this very offensive with all the crazies out there. Of course, teenagers will think it's cool but parents might not. In the end, is effective and keeps your attention, kodus.

I dont see that driving traffic to an attraction. There are alot of sicko's out there and snatching little children seemms a bit weird... although the production is cool!
