Looking to make some hanging spider victims. Working on a tight budget. They have to be hung from above, and they will be in a high traffic area, so people will be pushing them out of the way to get by. Any ideas? I have seen some photos, but they all just wrap bodies with the cheap cotton like spider webs. Those dont fly with our inspector, and they wont last people rubbing by them. Any ideas on good materials or techniques to do to make something look like a body is covered in a spider kind of caccoon? Any ideas would be great. I attached a photo of the idea, but I want it more spider victim looking! Thanks

Hey Justin, here is a video on cheap body forms, stuff these with old clothes (they have great weight if guests are touching them).
You can then wrap the body with beef netting from here..
I airbrush the beef netting to accentuate the holes and make them seem deeper. Then I hit it with webbing from a web gun. They turn out pretty good, I made a bunch a few years ago for my bug show.

Another fabulous post from the U.S.Department of Wild Imaginings, now in spectaclar stereo, sponsored by the Adhesives and Sealants Council, suggesting ways to stick things together since the 1800s. Not fabulous in a gay way. Your results may vary. Illinois residents add 8% sales tax. Wow I ave never seen this beef netting before but sure could have used it when I was making my spider egg pods. I used styorfoam balls wrapped in paper mache to make them tough in a high traffic area, and to add a more elliptical shape to them. I then sprayed them with a web gun until there was a thick layer of "web" covering. came out pretty cool. I will be ordering the beef netting though ...... i want to make some of these bodies.
