I would be very interested in this too. I asked at the convention class I was just at and they use tool dip and powder food coloring. I haven't tried it yet.

Hey guys, I have tried many blood recipes but they all turn out flat and don't have the "Fresh Kill" look im going for. Do you guys know any good recipes?

Prop blood or make-up blood?
prop blood
What the h is tool dip? Just wondering. Ive seen them use powder pigment or dye in making blood before.

When you say tool tip, do you mean Plast-Dip? In which case I would see how it would work as far as bonding well, but PD does not have a glossy finish.
I have no idea what tool dip was either. I googled it and came up with what I would assume is Plastidip. I didn't see how this would give the glossy look either, but that is what the prop girl from Dorney Park said they use. She helped with the setup and decorating of the TransWorld haunt so I am guessing she knows what she's talking about? LOL, I have noooo idea!![]()
PermaBlood/prop blood is a closely guarded recipe. Some people have it and some people have to buy it. Unfortunately we need to buy it since we failed at making it. If anyone has the recipe, and would like to share it please let me know.
I have the Perma-Blood recipe...since we make Perma-Blood. And, luckily for everyone here, we sell it too!
