Fright Props Water Sprayer help

Ok, So I broke down and bought one for my chop room where a teenage girl is going to get cut up by a saw. I'm needing it to spray water towards the guests.

I bought the basic kit for 110v activation. I can't tell if it's the right solenoid or not and the wires are very small. Does this mean anything? I'm needing to have this on a button / switch control, can someone tell me how to hook this up without killing myself? lol.

Why not ask the people you got it from (FrightProps)?

The voltage rating is stamped into the plastic right where the wires enter the solenoid. Yes, the wires are a very small gauge.
Simply put a plug on it and plug into a power strip. You can turn it on and off by toggling the switch on the power strip.

If you want to automate it you can use a controller or relay:

Did the suggestion, works great! Just need water now and to be fastened into place. I just took an old ext. cord and wired her up. EZ PZ.

[MENTION=20653]Frightener[/MENTION] You are not tightening the fittings enough and because of this you are having to use thread sealant. The possibility of breaking them as you suggest is outweighed by the damage that can be done by loose fittings all over the haunt.

Yeah I found out about the emails. They came back as Mailer_Daemon or w/e. didn't get delivered so i dunno.


It worked well last night! It leaks a bit and it doesn't stay primed but it only takes about a second to spray.

Use the check valve from frightprops about 9" from spray end on water side to keep it primed.

I got one last year too. and it worked about 3 days and never worked again. Dont know whats up with it.

THANKS FOR THIS TIP!! I ordered the sprayer for the toilet last season and it worked alright when the water tank was higher than the mechanism...BUT water kept flowing from the end and flooding the room. Same prob this year and I need to fix it BEFORE Friday...I'll be getting this valve!!
