Does anyone know of city restrictions on building a temporary facade for halloween decorations for a residence. It seems government officials cannot give a yes or no answer and I would not like to learn the hard way. Thanks

Nobody here is going to be able to give you the correct information. Talk to your city building inspector and let them know what you plan to do. Also might want to talk to the zoning official to assure they know what you're doing as well. As you mentioned, it's better to not learn the hard way!
