  • What ever happened to IAHA, or HHA, or HAA?

Are if the old haunt associations still around? They're definitely not viable anymore but is anything still going on? I remember you used to hear from someone all the time on here and around but it seems like years since there's been any action.

    Anyone know?

Yeah but didn't that happen years ago? Used to be much more active.

Patrick Knopelowski? was pretty good about biweekly emails, then the vice president stepped down and since then I have not heard near as much. I believe in an association, I just haven't seen them behind the right ideas yet.

              Larry,

This is a very interesting question. What has happened the HAA in recent years? I would have thought they would have become an important part of the IAAPA scene by now.

Amber from Kansas City was the VP and she got an attorney after them or something... it got nasty. She quit. I actually had to get an attorney after them as well which I'm not going into details. I think the whole thing is best left alone. An association for this industry has failed on ever level and I think haunts have spoken they don't want one. We still operate www.hauntedhouseassociation.org which is a FREE haunt directory anyone can list their haunts all listings are featured. We put up haunted news and promote ALL upcoming haunted events, conventions, tradeshows and stuff like that. Outside of that we don't really do anything with the site. I donated a website url to the new group which they currently use.

I think someone said it best... worthless.

Overall its not worth a discussion because there is nothing really worth discussing.
