    I have seen Trakkers advertised as a means to collect buyer info by scanning their badges at TW/St. Louis. Has anyone used this service? I cannot find a cost per scan by using the App that can be downloaded to an IPhone.
    Is their another way to collect data as a vendor?

    We used the iPhone app last year. The app itself is free from the Apple App Store. The cost is to access the data on Trakkers server. It's a flat rate - there is no cost-per-scan.

    Yes, we're going to use it again this year. It's more affordable than renting the dedicated scanner from the previous vendor. We had three people last year able to scan badges last year for less than renting one scanner in previous years.

    I posted this earlier, here it is again...

    Only rent the lead retrieval machine if you have a marketing follow up plan already in place. A lot of times vendors spend the bucks renting the machine to collect names but never do anything with them. I never rent the machines and instead rely on my catalog to bring them to me.

    Of course, everyone's business is different so do what you want!
