the Soul Seeker

One of my favorite pieces at the show was Scarefactory's Soul Seeker. For those that don't know, it's based on Charon, AKA the ferryman who ferries the dead across the River Styx in Greek Mythology and as seen in the Clash of the Titans movie.


The one in the movie was also an animatronic, albeit a very sophisticated and expensive one. Check it out here by it's creator Gustav Hoegen in the forst 30 seconds. Very talented work!

That level of animatronic motion is just awe inspiring! It is a mechanized art form.

Holy cow that guy is super talented I thought that was all done with CGI in the movie. Next level stuff right there.

I saw that in Clash of the Titans and that dude was SUPER COOL! I think an animations that no one has EVER DONE but SHOULD do is Medusa.

I'll buy that if its done right!
