Hey guys does anyone know of any sources that sell old whiskey barrels? I know Onadira sells them but anyone else? I need quite a few. Any tips would be appreciated!
When I did my pirate haunt I looked at Whiskey barrels- they were pretty pricey. I went with Cedar barrels because the cost was less and the look was really really close.

The Lexington Container Store (link in previous post) is just down the road from me, been there checking out the whiskey barrels. The "C" grade is what you want. They're authentic and still have that whiskey/bourbon smell!
I'm not sure if you needed full or half barrels but i know that the Home Depots in harford county get half barrels for their garden season every year. They're like 20 bucks a half barrel if i remember right.....most of the time you can even get them cheaper if you buy in bulk from them because they want to get rid of them as fast as possible. I work for a home depot that had them and they were such a pain in ass for us we ended up selling them at like 5-10 dollars a half to a local garden center who was interested.
Which Home Depot has them in Harford? Would the ones on 24 or Edgewood carry them? I may be able to use some half ones but mainly I need the large whole ones for our purpose.
Yes. We called a winery and bought an entire flat bed worth of wine barrels. We had them shipped to us. You can buy as many as you want. These are all used ones so the cost was affordable. You saw a 100 of them at Lemp... the real deal they weigh a ton each!
I believe both Edgewood store on Route 40 and the one in Bel Air on 24 near tollgate would have them already but if not I know the Aberdeen store will have them in the begining of May.
