    Hi everyone!

I just have a few security questions to ask. I was wondering what you do with all your cash during each night of the Haunt. I know that you can sometimes have up to $10,000 of money sitting there each night and I was wondering how you handle this money? I'll be starting a haunt in a "not necessarily good area" and I am concerned of theft after hours. Does anyone drive multiple times to the bank each night to drop off small amounts of cash like gas stations do? Has anyone been at gunpoint and had to give away the day's money? Any suggestions? I know carrying 10 grand in your car can be dangerous too because people can find out and ambush you. I might sound paranoid but does anyone have any suggestions?

We use a drop safe to hold all the money. Once there is more than a couple hundred in the drawer, our cashier drops the cash. It can only be opened with a combination and a key. The cashier has neither. At the end of the night I do a bank drop myself. I am licensed to carry a weapon. On nights with big drops, I have one of my security guards follow me to the bank as well.

We have police officers at our haunt, and they watch over the cashier during the night and then escort her to the office safe at the end of production.

Each hour we count the money and at the end of the night the police officer and I take it to a drop box at the bank. We collect every hour on our busy nights because the booth could have as much as 10,000 or more per hour. A police officer is always at the ticket booth.

    Hope this Helps.

how much would it cost to have an armored truck to come to your event at the end of every week to escort a safe full of money to the bank?

You guys are charging people so you can have all this fun?
    What a concept!
I admit it, I let the chrome plated bank wheel barrow tarnish, now nobody seems to notice me wheeling it 2 blocks to the bank, maybe they are too distracted bending down to pick up the extra bills that get breezed out as I wheel? It is uphill all the way (Mount carroll..)
Police are mere seconds away , city, county, state.
Criminals stand out around here makes them easy to catch, one of the benefits to having a small and elderly population here(with lots of cops!)
Next October I might shave my head and play my banjo on the porch , just to let them big city customers know wut they git when incaerrated here in these parts!
Some people who have stole things from my house have met with some bad ends, it might be a "Karma/magnified" sort of thing?
One person stole a small figurine, hit a deer on his way home, demolishing his new truck after his passenger told him to return the figurine and he didn't.
Another guy had a video tape of mine, he didn't bring it back, his house burned down!
Now you must make ten copies of this and mail it to ten of your friends, this has been around the world ten times, I can't get this even once!
