Hi I was curious if anyone has built a huge volcano. It doesn't have to work but how to get the structure.

    How Huge?
    I have built a 30 foot volcano.
We used a scaffold as part of the under structure. and then used 2x4s attaching to the scaffold to make points in the shape. We covered the whole thing in canvas tarps, and sprayed it with tiger foam.
The weird thing is we built this for the azizona cardinals football team and their new stadium. It had a giant cardinal blow up pop out of the top of it, and then the team smashed through the front of it.
    what a project!

Margaritaville built one in one of their restaurants (I cant remember which one) that was pretty cool. I am sure the structure was rebar and gunite but it was a working volcano. It would blow every 30 minutes or so, and a girl in a bikini came sliding around the volcano from the top (they had a slide for the laval flow). I am thinking maybe its the Vegas location?
