Items to decorate for outside portion of Asylum Haunt?

I was wondering what are some types of materials, decorations would you use for an area that is outdoors of an asylum? broken statues? etc. Thanks

Personally, I would use wrought iron gates or anything along those lines. I would have words like "sanitarium" or "reformatorium" about the area. A box of "medical files" or "charts" tossed about on the ground. It really depends what I am decorating?

Is it a house? A facility of some sort? A tent?
