I am looking for any employment opportunities in the Chicagoland area.. does anyone have any recommendations or any suggestions of any Halloween related companies that I can check into? Any company that is affiliated with costumes, masks or props would be greatly appreciated! - Thanks!

Most of the costume type stores out here in Illinois are Spirits and Halloween express and they hire spiradicly as the season approaches, watch for stores and apply when you see them going up.
As far as prop companys and stuff of that sort that would have year round employment, i don't believe we any in Illinois or i would be working for one!
I wish i could help more but unless you want a haunt to work at thats about it. -
I would agree with Kevin for the most part..... There are some places around that are year round costume shops, like for me (Central Illinois) Dallas & Company in Champaign http://www.dallasandco.com/. Most of the places I used to hit while I lived closer to Chicago don't exist anymore... and been replaced with chain stores....
